SKREAM!: Skream

Being an unreformed book-by-cover merchant, I've ignored this album when I've seen it on racks in the past, but finding the promo for a quid, I thought I'd to give it a try. I'm pleased I did. It's shit-hot electro-dumbient stylee! [Dictionary compilers, please note where you first saw this phrase.]
Other sites inform me it's normally classed as dubstep, which is OK I suppose. Do they get the 'step' bit from Walter Carlos's Timesteps? (from A Clockwork Orange) - if they do it's an accurate description particularly of the track entitled Kut-off, which should have been a worldwide number one best seller - even though it was never issued as a single as far as I can see.
Anyway if you're a fan of any of the various genres mentioned above I suggest you ignore the crap artwork and get hold of a copy to listen to. It's far better than much of the other stuff masquerading as high quality dub-electronica that's about at present. This has been out for about 6 months so I don't think it'll be too dated for young musos. The older ones won't care anyway, I hope.
Anyone got anything else by Skream they wanna send me?
somehow located your blog while searching for a article for a class, but I have to say I'm glad I found it ...will definately come back sometime.
