Kundalini Flavours & Ghost Money
The Revolution of Undoing
HIGH 2
This is one of those records whose cover catches your attention, you stare at it, can find no information which means much on the blurb, but somehow you know there's something worthwhile contained inside.
So you buy it, put it in the player and what do you get?
Well, even now it's not clear what you're listening to. Is it electro-folk? Is it a Tantric Yoga exercise record? Is it Ambient Raggamuffin Rave Music?
Whatever it is intended to be, you were right when you had that hunch. It is extremely worthwhile.
I still haven't made my mind up what it's all about, but you can be sure I'll carry on trying for some good while yet!
On Further Listening....
....I find myself even more intrigued. There are quite churchy orchestral/organ-ish bits and one or two tracks reminded me of a real old favourite - the Alchemy album by Third Ear Band - I must dig that out and have a listen - tho' I don't remember ever getting hold of a CD version. Other influences hear [or here, I should say] could be Terry Riley - Church of Anthrax with John Cale particularly came into my mind.
Hi Abi,
If you would like some scans of all the cover art let me know.
Regards, Ghost Money
