Classical Women - The Best Vocals

I thought I'd work through the sets of discs I plundered from ASDA @ 50pence a set and offer you my opinions on them in case you get to find the same or similar offer @ your local store. So here's the first.
It's a 2-CD set of arias from operas sung by some of the leading Divas - including Anne Sofie Von Otter, Barbara Bonnie, Joan Sutherland and Kiri Te Kanawa to name but four. 30 tracks in all - and recorded to the highest standard. Very nice too.
Very strange packaging - see illustration - rather weird eroticism, that only connoisseurs of the particular art-form might understand and/or appreciate. I'm up for being educated on the matter if you can inform me!
Unfortunately the sleeve notes (or whatever they're called these days) are all in what seems to be Portuguese, so not terribly useful to monoglotic me!
